Can anyone help me find out what coin this is? History of it?

Hello. Sorry for the bad pictures, but does anyone know what coin this is? Does it have any connection to the Japanese 5 yen coin? Is it considered lucky? What was its value back then? Anything to do with the number 5? Any info would be nice!

I know very little about this topic, but I suspect it is a modern reproduction that has been turned into jewelry. Did you buy it as jewelry?

The Chinese characters are mirror image of the genuine coin. No question, this is a repoduction and you can buy it at the cost of copper. Sorry to tell you that.
