Re: New Anti-Counterfeit Holders

My question is do they really believe this solves the problem?

The new U.S. $100. Bills are already being counterfeited.

It was interesting to hear him mention what the San Francisco counterfeiting operation was doing with the previous PCGS holders.

That hologram is pretty cool.  I wonder what anti-counterfeiting technology the NGC group is working on.

One way to reduce the risk of getting a fake slab is to submit the OMP coins yourself for grading.  Also, if you buy from reputable Chinese coin dealers who submit the coins for grading themselves, you should feel very confident that you are getting the real item.

It is always important to stay vigilant in the market and be on the lookout for anything that looks suspicious.  Whether it is 100 years in the past or 100 years in the future, there will always be crooks who are trying to make money through deception.
