Selling - 1984 Silver-Plated Goldfish Set with Box - OMP - Rarely Offered

This is a nice set in OMP that I am offering here on CCF. It has been over a year since these items were sold in quantity on ebay by Luckmoneyro. Since then supply seems to have dried up.

The coins are all in good condition with no toning, however please be aware that like all the 1984 Silver-Plated Goldfish there is some deterioration on the side of the coin bearing the word 'CHINA', to the center of the coin. This is unavoidable it seems.

NGC has recognized these 1984 Silver-Plated Goldfish and will grade them.

NGC stats on 9/26/13 are as follows:

Pearl scales silvered, 24 graded, 1xPF69UC, 1xPF69CA
Dragon eyes silvered, 24 graded, 3xPF69CA
Bubble eyes silvered, 22 graded, 1xPF69, 1xPF69UC
Red high head silvered, 26 graded, 1xPF69CA

The only issue I noticed when I looked at the coins for photographs is that the OMP is cracked for about 10mm near the Pearl scales coin

Please send me a PM if you would like to acquire this item.

I have added a photo of the Dragon Eyes to show the variety (broken stem).

For your convenience, here is the link to RAREMEDAL's translation of Mr Feng Jingjing's work on Goldfish:

Does the reverse of Dragon Eyes have the die defect on the fish body?

A correction: It is fwang2450 who did the excellent translation of Mr Feng Jingjing's (aka RAREMEDAL) work.  http://china-mint.info/forum/index.php?topic=9457.0

Thanks for clarifying it was fwang2450 who did the excellent translation.

Yes the reverse has a variety of the die defect. In some coins its more extreme than others

I have posted the reverse of this medal. (DSC1175) I do find these defects vary a little.

DSC1176 is from a different set. The Dragon Eyes has the same broken stem on obverse, but the reverse die defect doesn't have the brush strokes radiating out towards the eyes that you can see in DSC1175.
