WWWTP?

hippanda,

to your question, "what's wrong with this picture?" - that's obviously a reseal, and a poor one at that.   N32

abi-handel "omp"

  1/10  omp
1/4 oz resealed
1 oz resealed

Just for information.

Attached pictures are Shenzhen Mint pouch.

For 1999 and 2000, the pouch does not have imprint of Shenzhen Guobao Mint at one or two sides of edge.  All four sides show the same braid pattern. Sometimes, one side with straight angle at inner corners may be flat and shows very little braid pattern. Please note the pouch always shows two curved and two straight inner corners as marked in the pictures.

Based on the picture, 2000 1/10 oz. coin may be sealed recently at Shenzhen Mint, since it shows the imprint of Shenzhen Guobao Mint on two sides, similar to 2008 pouch as in the attached picture. I believe that imprint of Shenzhen Guobao Mint on the edge of the pouch started at 2002.

Buy the coin; not the holder.  As anyone with enough $ can "buy the mint" to do the reseal with the "official" seal pattern on the holder.

There are posts in the CCF archives that attest to the fact that this is already happening. Unfortunately, this gives OMP a bad name!

Poconopenn knows wraps   N31

Here is the 1992 Shenyang Panda again in Triangle pattern, then 1991 in earlier Wire pattern.
So 1992 likely start first Shenyang Triangle pattern?

1 g 91 with triangle pattern

agree 96 - 1999 without imprint.
but 2000 :001_unsure:
maybe this year both pattern used by the mint?
again 2000 with imprint ....

The sealing pattern of Shenzhen Mint pouch is very interesting. This is what I have found.

1997 silver unicorn: three sides have braid pattern and one side is flat.

1997 ½ oz silver panda: all sides have braid pattern.

2000 silver panda: three sides have braid pattern and one side is flat.

2001-D silver panda: two sides have imprint of Shenzhen Guobao Mint, one side has braid pattern and one side is flat.

2002 silver panda and thereafter: two sides have imprint of Shenzhen Guobao Mint and two sides have braid pattern.

2000 1 oz. and 1/10 oz. gold panda: three sides have braid pattern and one side is flat. This is not the same as ¼ oz., which all sides show a braid pattern.

The picture in the following eBay listings show identical sealing pattern as mine in 2000 1/10 oz. However, in 2000 ¼ oz., three sides have braid pattern and one side is flat vs. all sides have braid pattern in my coin as shown in my previous post.

The red box marked in the pictures is for flat sealing side.

what do you think about this sealing?

5 coins of the sheet imprint " shenzhen g." is deep
other 5 coins imprint " shenzhen g." is high.

Yes, definitely.

Also one row of coins shows the obverse while the other row shows the reverse side of the coins.

Is one coin being extruded from the sheet? Maybe not!
