Sales on ebay..
2006 Color Dog  OMP   $79.99    SOLD

German seller lambopsc had some Ended or not available.    Usually his ended listing relist soon but it has been about a week.    Most German sellers i cannot "see other items" on ebay and don't know why....
2003 PF 69 Color Goat                      Ended
2006 PF 69 Color Dog  $173.97  USD Ended
2008 PF 68 Gilt Rat      $202.42         Ended       Ebay 174040459756
2010 PF 69 Gilt Tiger    $403.74         Ended

Are these just not listed or did they sell?    Anyone in Germany know?     IF they did sell, why the sudden demand for silver color lunars?

German seller numismatic-investments sold this one...

2010 PF 67 UC Gilt Tiger     $599     SOLD       Ebay 264155657491    actual selling price?

Demand is up for the rare ones, mostly gilt.      Why the interest?     Gov Mint was the distributor of these Prestige Gold Panda sets w/ silver color lunar medal.      The COA gives mintage.     Could actual sales be much lower?     Did Gov Mint leak out the actual?    Only speculation on my part.      Maybe they have been discovered by collectors.       As posted in past about 4 to 5 yrs ago, some of the top collectors were buying these color lunars so my group and I did too.      They were cheap then but not now....   $599 for a PF 67

Photo is ebay OMP and not this graded tiger....    Maybe those on my previous post by another German seller sold too...

The 2010 PF 67 Gilt Tiger has been relisted at same price. Hopefully one of my collector buddies can dig up the cash to buy it...

Have been asked by collectors looking for a 2008 PF 69 Gilt Rat.     Here are 3 NGC pop
PF 69 - 1  top pop
PF 68 - 4
PF 67 - 1

There are many 2008 Color Rat including photos on this topic of about 100 of them OMP in 3 trays...
Where are the Gilt Rats?     Why so low pop?    Cheap prices so why grade?     It seems all the gilt are very rare.     Again, some experts were buying these up years before i grabbed a clue and they were buying mostly gilt.      My favorite is the 2009 Gilt Ox or Lucky Ox.    Great details.

Photo of the 5 PF 69 my collector buddy bought and lone PF 69 Gilt Rat..
Photo of Gilt Lucky Ox...
I like all of them.     Yes, another lowly medal but these could see more demand as color Chinese becomes more popular.      Have mostly coins but the market changes as time marches on so medals will eventually have their day in the financial sun...
