If China Gold Corp has a melt list and a actual mintage list, that would change the entire market.  That valuable information needs to go public, well at least on this forum.   IF it is a guesstimate list then that would help a ton too.  How do we encourage them to give up the goods?   Pandacollector, do you have privy to any of this information? ......

Many people would LOVE to see the actual “melt list” however I don’t believe that list will ever materialize … what coins have been melted is one of the most intriguing issues that surrounds Modern Chinese Coins ... I kind of like it like that.

As strange as that may sound I enjoy those mysteries !  :w00t:

Here is picture of 50 coin (10 gold and 40 silver) set of historical figure, issued in later 1993. They are not re-struck. The actual mintage might be a very small fraction of planned mintage (3,000), due to 1989 Tainanman Square Incident. The actual mintage of 1990 and 1991 gold coins are less than 3,000 as suggested by Mr Ge. IMO, those numbers are reliable.
