I recently bought a big Confucius note for about $300
Anybody have any idea? Confucius is making a bad sign to the Japanese.

Really nice details on this note. As it states on the holder, it´s Pick J 54 ("Standard Catalog of World Paper Money" page 347) issued in 1938 by the Federal Reserve bank, a "puppet bank". In UNC it´s 140$, but as you know, you can´t always trust prices in catalogs.
