It appears the bar has been raised for collectors of this series, if you want the Buddha you will have to go for the gold.

That is true, the price of the silver coin in china is plunging these days, already below 200$ now.

I wonder if it will hit it's full allocated mintage... not putting the Buddha on the silver may have backfired on the mint.
