IMHO, this series is too hyped up before release, and the design is pretty weak.

As budget collector, I can't seem to find the right coin to start with for this series.

Hi flora
I didn't buy because many advised me to wait it out & watch the price slide, turns out it was great advice. At first I felt worried because the 5oz Ag (fav) only had 10000 mintage but it may not be a rush to get in line even at reduced price as the majority believe poor design & the race to buy other profitable items is on. How low will it go I'm not sure (about spot plus 500% last week). If spot goes parabolic the premium will dissolve.
Would i be better off with bars during these crazy times? I think so. Spot may jump 2x but premium % of this issue will certainly not in such a small timeframe. Time will prove me a fool or a good guesser!

Will I be better off waiting 3 months then picking it up in the secondary market even cheaper, most probable. Everyone is busy buying key dates & what ever is undervalued as good speculators do.

Who has already bought into this series? Show of hands?

It would be 1 of 3 - people who love the design, contrarian speculators & hands-tied distributes.

But only 1 of them are selling.

Love your info flora, keep up the great work!

I forgot to add, I really like the design!
Did I read somewhere that china gc improved or updated production/press equipment recently?
And no enamel or colouring etc, like a coin/medal should be.

It takes time to grwo to be the best coin investor or collector. I think you will be the best, because you are so fascinated by the coins.

This series was quite hyped up prior to release. I did not buy as I did not find the designs appealing.

Thank you flora79 for sharing this article - it was fascinating to read about the pump and dump practices of the so-called "investiment institutions".
