FRAUD alert on eBay
« on: August 09, 2012, 11:43:57 PM »
Seller(s) Changhuawei5552012 and liucheng_7988 - probably one guy with two ID's - are selling coins they don't have. The photos posted are copied from seller, Pisceslunar.

I didn't catch on before and actually bid on that 1996 platinum panda. Thank God I didn't win the bid. But a day later, Changhuawei5552012 sent me a "second chance offer" on that coin. Beware!! Don't fall for it. If you have bid, cancel!!!  I have reported them to eBay already, and also alerted Pisceslunar.

A link will be helpful.
I like to report this type of listings to ebay, just a few easy clicks, but makes me feel I'm hurting the scammers back

Is this a serious seller - he has some bad remarks and this coin was already sold.
I think this is a fraud seller.

Majority of silver pandas in this set (1983-2006) are fake. Most pre-2000 have post-2000 design in temple side.

Beware of this seller.  Title and picture state 2003 set, however description states 2004 set.  The seller is actually selling 2004 set which is worth $2000 less than 2003 set.  Total misrepresentation and I reported it to ebay but they let the auction run to completion, now some poor buyer is going to get ripped off.

very interesting listing.  The photos are of a 2003 set like the title suggest.  I hope the buyer used paypal.

"2004" could be a typo. Did anyone contact the seller with the observation? There were nine bidders.

I really wanted to bid on the 2003 set as the 1/2 is in very short supply.  I contacted the seller and he told me it is 2004 set and picture and title are incorrect, so I didn't bid it up.  He should have ended the listing but kept it up regardless.   I assume all the other bidders above $3400 assumed the picture is correct, he even wrote in the description certificate as shown in picture, well even that is a false statement.

Looks like ebay is on the ball, they finally did something after 3 reports plus maybe some forum members also reported the item.  Just got this email.
