2004 Panda Gold....was going to submit, would you?
« on: February 07, 2012, 01:25:33 PM »
Hey gang, check out these three photos of the reverse of a 2004 Panda Gold 1oz.  There's a mark - looks like a lint mark, but won't know until I receive it - on the reverse at about 2 o'clock.  I've spoken to current owner, and he says its only visible at that angle, blown up in the photo, and through a 10x loupe.  Would that mark keep you from submitting it to NGC? (I don't think it's worth submitting if it comes back a 68, others may disagree).  Badon has schooled me well on lint marks, and their affect on grading, etc., but still figured I'd throw this one out there and see what people think.

Thank you for your time!

A beautiful gold panda in mint plastic with mini coa attached, I wouldn't bother sending it to ngc.
if it came back ms69, not much if any value is added
if it came back ms68, you lose a lot of premium. potential risk way more than reward in my opinion.
