I never take the advice or listen to any so-called gurus. The stock market manipulators are in the same catagory. They all favorably position themselves PRIOR to cutting loose their "advice". That way, they just sit back and watch all the suckers react as their own net worth grows. It's called "moving a market". Once again, the little guy gets crushed while the guru is licking his chops!!!!

Any "guru" who is a darling of CNBC and mainstream financial news has very little credibility. Gold has been going up for 10 years. If it goes down for a few months, even a year, that won't break the trend.

This guy has been calling the trend of gold for a while now and has been consistently wrong.

Could the real reason of Gold's drop be due in part because of MF Global going bankrupt, which was a very big commodities firm! Didn't the same thing happened in 2008 when Lehman and AIG went bankrupt? Both were big commodities firms which also had to sell.

Gold has been up 11 years straight so it's healthy and overdue to have a correction.

MF Global has definitely caused selling in the commodities markets, artificial liquidation, which has put downward pressure on Gold. Also China has 3 Trillion and they continue to purchase Gold. I for one am not selling and will buy continue to buy. Good Luck!

"He noted that China has been buying gold aggressively over the past several weeks, which should have sent the price surging - Instead they plunged,"

Talk about an oxymoron statement. The chinese are buying all the gold they can find but yet gold doesn't seem to react on that, so lets sell it all!

I consider it a very positive development that Dennis Gartman thinks this is a good time to sell gold.

Best wishes,

From what I have seen, Mr. Gartman is a trend following style of investor. In the gold market that means he is usually his most bullish near tops and most bearish near bottoms. IMO, a sell signal from him is pretty much a requirement before a bottom can be reached. We will have to see if that holds true again.

Best wishes,

And to cap it off...

Just be careful with these gold and silver sites. Their agendas in many instances are more criminal than our governments.

Dennis Gartman is at it again, he's saying that gold is again in a bull market. I did not know bear markets lasted about three weeks!
