It looks like the site stopped being updated at the end of 2010, however the NGC/PCGS numbers there can be useful.

Where do you see certification numbers? I don't see them at the link you gave.

Click on one of the coins on the list and it will open a page with certification numbers and sales data.

Here is the Year of the Child G450Y as an example http://search.numismatics.com.au/CHINA_YEAR_OF_THE_CHILD_G450Y

This is a problem I knew for a while, but I thought it was on my PC side:  I know that I can't open two or more upload windows on CC and upload two pictures at the same time.  When I do that, the 2nd upload window looks different and after a while it will indicate the upload has failed.

Just a few minutes ago, Gilmore was uploading a file, and at the same time I also attempted to upload a file, and I saw the a different upload window that's similar to when attempting to upload two files simulataneouly.  Sure enough, after a while I received an error message saying the upload has failed.  I think this is the same problem as uploading two files simultaneously.

Badon,
Following the discussion about the 1984 Great Wall medals I created CCT1691 (matte error), CCT1689 (proof) and CCT1690 (proof error) with 2 specimens under it.
Can you please check if the hierarchy is correct? I would like to add also the bronze and the 2 copper version. Shall I add them under "CCT839: Commemoratives" or shall I create a main type "1984 Great Wall" with all the silver, bronze and copper versions under it?

Since the problem of simultaneous uploads seems to be the same for one PC or multiple PC, I did a quick test and screen capture the error condition:
To generate the problem, I opened two CC tabs on my Internet Explorer and upload a large file on the first tab.  The first picture is the screen capture of a normal upload dialog.  While the first tab is uploading, I attempt to upload another file.  The 2nd picture is a screen capture of the upload window.  Notice it is full size and the scroll bar to the right is absent.  After a while, I will receive the error message as displayed on the third picture.  I verified that both uploads are successful, but the 2nd upload terminated with the error message and the image is "lost".

That error message is probably unrelated to the issue you experienced. The error message should already be fixed when I roll out some upgrades. I'll have to investigate how you got to that place with no form, though, since that's new info for me.

Since you are studying the 1999 Panda Beijing Expo, I added 60 more specimen.  There is a small complication:  Before NGC 3544147, Panda Beijing Expo is considered as a MS grade coin.  There are no designation like "Ultra Cameo".  So for those coins, I entered them with the designation field blank.  This is in conflicted with some of the previously entered specimen, but I did not change/modify the previouly entered one.

As for the 1990 dragon and phoenix.  I have 464 NGC entries.  Unfortunately, they are ALL dragon and phoenix mixed in.  I need to search them individually and find the 2g version.  If you like, I can give you all 464 items and let you search through them.

I find a goodish number of 1990 2g dragon and phoenix just poking around.  So I just entered 110 specimen into CCT781.  That should provide a sufficient base to calculate the rarity of each variation.

Wow, thanks for the data SANDAC! Research on the CC really is a team effort now. It makes much more possible now that we can easily share data and divide research efforts into smaller bits. I'll put some time into sorting those new specimens. I'm eager to see mintage estimates for the new varieties. With only the specimens I have studied the estimates could be skewed, but with your independent data, it is much more likely to be balanced.

CCT38: 1982 1/4 oz gold panda, the obverse photo looks like it is of a fake coin. Can you confirm?

I'm not sure if we want to keep fake photos off of the random obverse and reverse display. It certainly shouldn't put them there permanently, like it has done. The test is revealing little flaws like that, so I can fix them.

Unfortunately, the site is so big now, I can't make even minor changes without affecting thousands of pages - which takes about 30 hours to update! So, after I did the test, I have begun working on a solution that will allow me to make minor changes and test them out, without affecting the whole site. Then, when everything is perfect, I can roll out the changes to the whole site and let it take all month to automatically update if it wants to :)

The test page of the fake coin has no images in the image gallery, that is why I thought it why uploaded as the obverse/reverse of the main type.

Also, I added CC7080 under CCT159 without knowing whether it is from Shanghai or Shenyang mint. I think this specimen will need to be relocated.
