Welcome Dragonfan! We spent Chinese New Years in Penang a few years ago, it was A LOT of fun. I remember the Chinese Valentines orange toss and fantastic free entertainment on the outdoor stages. The decorated gates to downtown were incredible and the food markets were "to die for". We stayed at the old Cathay hotel, just thinking about you guys down there has brought back a flood of wonderful memories.

All the best

Is there a coin market with multiple dealers in kuala lumpur? Any notable coin dealers in malaysia to visit? Any info to help a numismatist enthusiast visiting kuala lumpur would be greatly appreciated?

:) I'm from KL but working in SG for 6 years. It is much easier (cheaper too) to source for panda coins in SG.

The most numis shops in one place is BERJAYA TIMES SQUARE located in the heart of the city in Kuala Lumpur. However there are several numis shops in KL too but they are not in one place and not worth to go because of the bad traffic jams.

Happy hunting and enjoy your stay in Malaysia.
