For you new collectors, look at numbers....
Anyone can correct me if i am wrong..

1993 G5Y  1/20 oz BU gold panda
40 + 129 + 166 = 337 NGC total pop graded
Peter's book 2,000 LD + 3,100 SD = 5,100 Surviving pop
337 NGC graded   VS   5,100 Surviving pop     How many graded by others or OMP??

1993 G5Y 1/20 oz PROOF gold panda
177 NGC total pop graded
Peter's book 2,500 Plan mint,  Mr Ge's book 2,000 Plan mint
177 NGC graded  VS  2K to 2.5K  Plan mint.      How many graded by others or OMP??

(1994 1/20 oz PF gold panda )
(Peter 1,750 Plan mint,   Mr Ge's book 854 Actual mint)

China has 5 times the USA population.    The World also collects pandas so upcoming demand will be huge as this market goes to mature market in a few years.
The NGC graded numbers are very small in comparison to Surviving pop or Plan mint.     Are there enough BU or PF 93 G5Y 1/20 gold pandas to meet upcoming demand?    No.
The Proofs are small numbers in comparison to BU.    1990's PF Gold Pandas should be one of your goals....
