If it is a copy-fake it is a good one.

On ebay now 1/12/2010 it goes off at about in 1 hour with about a 90$ bid is a 2000 mirror panda .

Item number 2505 5994 8756

This a bad fake. check --distance between legs --right front leg connecting to sholder should not be any white showing.

The seller may not know it is a fake. 2500 positive feedbacks.

What do you think ?

he sells coins profesional and he did not check difference between mirror and regular 2000 issue???

Mirror has non-frosted outher ring, on picture is frosted(regular 2000 version) and also
you can see on picture(pic.1) that sealing is from Shenyang mint.

That white line you see its from lightning :D.

My opinion: ORIGINAL, but not correct described (it is not mirror)

Thanks, you are correct , it is not a mirror type.

I was so busy looking at other things on the coin i didn't notice it was not a mirror.

Hello,
in this couple of weeks they were lots of 2000 Mirror Pandas 1oz available on ebay.de.....and there still can be found.

Seller, http://feedback.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=rehlein_josi&&sspagename=VIP:feedback&ftab=FeedbackAsSeller , has sold a lot of them for around $140. Now you can found them by other ebay sellers....most of them probably really do not know that is fake.

If you look at picture of this fake you will see them easily if you look how paint is spiled there by letters "oz"

And another surprise: coin has 1oz in weight and same diameter AND HEIGHT.
Here you can see scan afther "modification" :) :
http://www.goldseiten-forum.de/index.php?page=Thread&postID=476776&highlight=#post476776
(coin is from other seller but same coin)

p.s.
I report about this some posts up :)

Just a question for panda collecters and dealers.

Can you look at ebay item # 1104 8428 7240 ,  2000 mirror

The pictures are not good , but i put them on PICASA and doctored them so i could see them better.

Some of the sellers other items have very good pictures.

Its a tough one to tell. ink under OZ looks good --branch is close to rear right leg

Some of the leaves don't look like the leaves on the MS69 i have.

Any ideas. thanks

I ment to say the branch is centered between the pandas right legs, i think the branch should be closer to the pandas right rear leg and not cenered between them.

Hy,
I was watching this coin yeterday but befor we do  not see bether pictures it is hard to tell.

On second picture you can see on left side some sealing that is genuie for this 2000 version (shenzen sealing). 2000 ordinary is made in Shenghay and sealing is other.

If you can send some brither pictures or ask seller for scan then it will be easier.

edit:
if I see OK also the capsule is OK (for 2000 mirror capsules are thicker with bigger edge max.diameter for it is 49mm on teh edge - same capsule for check we can found for 2001 issue WITHOUT D). For other pandas between 2000-2010 capsule is 45mm

EDIT 2:
I recived pictures today(27.Jan) from seller and I am now sure that is coin OK. But that is only picture.....

Hy,

yes it is FAKE, and he also have 2002,2003,2007 and 2008 all FAKE. I have seen this auctions some day ago,but price was very low. People maybe think they will recive some new version that nobody has (and they are right...they will get new version of fake issue :) )

I do not know if he is frauded becouse I dis not find any Pandas in his feedback....so there is some chance that he doesnt know what is he seeling???? or not??

If you want you can report it on ebay (I am not doing that......maybe if ebay put me on payroll  thumbup)

NGC coins are safe. Just make sure the holder is genuine. Here's some photos of known counterfeit NGC holders:

http://www.ngccoin.com/news/viewarticle.aspx?IDArticle=954

So far, I haven't seen any counterfeit NGC holders for Chinese coins yet. As long as you buy from good dealers, you will be OK. If you ever have a question about a coin or a dealer, you can always ask us here, and we will help you make sure you are safe, and paying a fair price.
