It's on the bottom of the main page, near the online users list. It has a list of upcoming events, and if you click the icon to the left, it takes you to the calendar. You can link posts to the calendar by clicking "LINK TO CALENDAR" at the bottom of the topic you're reading.

Peter,

When are the Dragon Lunar's coming out?  What's the premium going to be for the Gold and Silver coins?  Especially the 1oz silver pieces?  Tried emailing yahl but no reply back.  Do you not want our money?

The Singapore International Coin Show concluded today.  The 2012 Panda Medals were hot items at the show.  The available 5 oz silver medals at the show were sold out in the first 2 hours of the opening.  I was able to take home the 1 oz. silver medal; however, I had to pre-order the 5 oz medal which guarantees that I will receive the medal in the mail in 2 weeks.  The show was well attended, and I was able to meet a lot of good people at this event. I have some photos of the medals and the event.

Due to popularity of the new medals, will this increase interest and value in the older, overlooked medals?  Singapore is becoming a precious metals mecca.  Will Singapore coins have future value/popularity too?..............

For the first time since 1997, China has issued an official set of gold and silver medals to commemorate the Singapore coin fair.  I certainly hope that this will revive the interest in the show medals both current and prior medals. Singapore is an economic tiger economy with many wealthy coin collectors as witness with the great turn out in attendance of this show. Although there were many mints from other countries including the Singapore mint in attendance, I only concentrated on modern Chinese coins.

Anyone know how many 5oz silver medals were sold at the show, in that two hours?

As others have mentioned, the Singapore International Coin Fair was an active, fun show. Everyone, both collectors and dealers, that I talked to was very, very pleased with the event. It looks like in just two years the Singapore Coin Fair has become one of the major shows on the international coin show circuit. I suspect that many dealers who weren't here will have booths in 2013. I certainly heard regrets from several who didn't make it here this year. The show really had everything you could ask for including lots of coins, lots of visitors, lots of excellent dealers, lots of coins trading hands, and even lots of good food.

Thanks to all the CCF members and readers who came over to chat with me at my booth. It was great to meet and talk with you. I look forward to continuing our conversations next year.

Here are some pix of the event:

The 2nd Singapore International Coin Fair was held at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel

Two of the stars of the show: Panda medals!

Many of the world's mints attended including China, Singapore, Mexico, Canada, Thailand,
Czech Republic, North Kores(!), the U.K., and

Israel

Free talks on numismatic collecting and investing were among the show highlights

Michael Chou of Champion Auctions Hong Kong shows one of my favorite books

How many coin shows serve duck right inside the exhibit hall?

Dealers from all around the world, like Jocou of 11 Coins Co of Shanghai,
brought their coins to Singapore

A favorite of many young collectors was the coin press that
the Singapore Mint demonstrated at the show

There wasn't much rest for the dealers at this coin fair

Best wishes,
Peter Anthony
