Numismatic shops also in Germany
« on: May 23, 2011, 04:38:47 PM »
Hey guys,

I also know those 3 numismatic shops/centers in Germany:

http://www.pater.de/en/index.htm?language=en&sessionid=nosession

this one-you have to know German:

http://www.loebbers.com/

and this one which is the best with those 3:

http://www.ma-shops.com/index.html?curr=USDEUR&lang=en&PHPSESSID=78ebd680a62322540b8de91050280b50

In this 3rd online shop you can find a lot of chinese modern and some old silver coins:

http://www.ma-shops.com/world/maCategory.php5?sortby=letzteaenderung&desc=desc&lang=en&branche=-1&selectSuCat=843&catName=China

Enjoy!

Thanks for the links.   I made a few purchases, and I drooled over a few other coins that will have to wait.   I was not aware of those sellers, but I think they owe you a commission :)

You are welcome. Sometimes it is hard to find good coins and good sellers on eBay. Even there are some you still have to worry, but in those numismatic supermarkets or coin shops you don't have to worry that coins are fake and sellers are not trustful. Enjoy:)

Hello everybody,

I wonder if anyone has successfully completed the purchase of http://www.ma-shops.com/index.html?curr=USDEUR&lang=en&PHPSESSID=78ebd680a62322540b8de91050280b50?

Are products such as should be?
Does anyone have any positive or negative experience?  :confused1:

 Sincerely, D.

I bought an expensive old coin from www.ma-shops.com a few months ago.  I showed the coin to some experts at a recent national coin show.  They thought it was genuine and offered to buy it from me.  That gives me confidence to go back and make another purchase when I see something I like.

I purchased from MA shops ion early July, still waiting for the coin. Shipping between Germany and Canada seems slower than some other countries (eg US, China, HK, UK, France, Sincapore, Malaysia, Japan)

To follow up, I received this coin back from NGC today.  Authentic and AU50.  I would buy again from MA Shops.  The coin is a 5 Tien from Annam, which was formerly part of China, but is now part of Vietnam.  I love the cool designs on some of these big silver coins.  This one has five bats on one side and a bunch of big Chinese characters.  Can anyone translate the Chinese?
