I was going through a box in the attic yesterday and stumbled upon a couple Panda sets I bought way back in the 80's and have no idea what they might be worth.  I tried to check a few places (ebay, etc), but didn't see anything that would really help.  So any help with a general price range would be appreciated.

1988 5 oz silver Panda, Munich Coin Expo in a blue box with gold lettering.  The serial number on the COA is 1063?? (trying to go from memory).

1987 5oz and 1oz silver panda set in a brown box with gold lettering.  The serial number on the COA is 10104??(once again trying from memory).

Both sets are in good shape, with a little fading on the interior of the boxes from sun damage (I had them displayed on a book shelf at one time).  As for the coins, They have never left the plastic casing, but have a small amount of tarnish on an edge or two.

Any help would be great!!

The 1987 set would probably sell for around $700 on ebay. The Munich one for maybe around $1800-$2000. There's an ungraded one listed on ebay now for $2400 BIN.

Thanks Reiboy!!  I saw where someone had the Munich one on Ebay, but brushed that off as a crazy price...guess it's not so far off.  Perhaps you could suggest whether I should get the coins conserved/graded before trying to sell, or should I just put them out there as is???

Thanks again!
