Iran is doing major military exercises thru the Strait of Hormuz where most of the world's oil passes thru.    At least 1 company stopped it's tankers from traveling thru it.     Iran wants conflict as the US is imposing sanctions and Iran has many of Russia's military technology that is superior to the US.    However the US has on its side Israel, Saudi Arabia, etc....    Google to it.   Many articles say very high oil prices and same for gold/silver.     Guess we will soon find out....

Here are my photos. The Proof Set will be graded as MS, but get a higher grade.

What would be a set with 3x70 and 1x69 be worth?

Collectors all tell me the market is dead or close to it.     I still see many sales on ebay and the rare sells quick if priced right.   ( I do not know right price.)     2 examples on ebay of the 1996 5 oz Gold Unicorn w/ 99 mintage...

4/5  1996 G500Y OMP box/coa          $49,000         Ebay 163628101684.....  no longer available, sold quick

5/19 1996    "        PF 69                   $50,000         Ebay 372672338076......          "                       "

1890-08 20C MS 64 Kwangtung silver dragon      $366   SOLD    Ebay 362662386431...

These little guys keep going up in price....
Dealers say MS grade is not easy to get...
Was warned that some were fakes and many were graded (about 700 or less NGC pop??).      I still think demand will eventually outstrip supply......

1991P G5Y PF 69 UC  1/20 Proof Gold Panda    $390 SOLD    Ebay 192892586578   seems like a high price for a 91 proof 1/20

See more sales of small proofs and big gold pandas.    Flippers are also buying them and reselling them for more.     Ebay Watch list will hold a sale for about 90 days so big gold pandas get flipped in that time frame.      More power to the flippers.....

I believe you.      Looked back at my notes and Nov 2017 a 69 sold for about $218.     Recent price is almost double this price.

1990's small proofs are best.     Of course the 1992 and 94 have surviving pop around 800+ so they are the rarest.        1990 w/ 5K mint?     1991 w/ 3,500 mint and 93 w/ 2500 mint are the affordable ones at this time and probably best upside of the 3.     Again it was posted here about 2 yrs ago that the small proof gold pandas are the most undervalued.         Gold is getting ready to roar....

I was surprised to see such a high price for 1991 1/20, did a little research and it indeed sold for $375 which is a record high price.

Had no clue it was a record price.     Possible variety?     Probably high gold price.    Took another look at my notes....

3/16/19  91 G5Y PF 69 UC  $185   Sold       Ebay 352617310545  6 months ago

on ebay   91 G5Y PF 69 UC  $329.95           Ebay 202721597812  still available

Seems the 1993 should be higher priced...

2/20/19  93 G5Y PF 69 UC  $195  Sold       Ebay 382798621411....
