Mint Error in Platinum Panda?
« on: August 21, 2018, 01:43:26 PM »
Hi

I'm wondering if NGC would consider the 'struck through' designation on this coin.
It's only visible on the back side. Front is clean.

In case that this is an error, could that change the market value? The coin otherwise is flawless and looks like a PF69 to me.

Any suggestions are welcome. N48

Thanks  :001_smile:

Little update:

I submitted the coin to NGC and received a PF69 Grade
NGC did not assign any error designation to it - maybe it was just not obvious enough.

If anybody of you wants to own the 1997 Platinum Panda pair in NGC PF69 you can check out the following auction links from Stacksbowers.
