2018 Dragon and Phoenix coin
« on: November 20, 2017, 12:04:30 PM »
I heard that the China Mint was visited by authorities from the Chinese government and told to shut down production during the minting of a 2018 version of the Dragon and Phoenix coin.  Can anybody confirm this?  Anybody know about this?

The Mint probably refused to pay the bribe to the Communist leadership.    N16 N16 N16 N16

I know first-hand of a U.S. manufacturer who built a new factory in China, and the power company (Communist government owned) refused to supply power until a bribe was paid. In other words, government-sanctioned blackmail. The U.S. company refused to be intimidated by these Communist government thugs, and said "no".

But the Mint is owned by the government of China.  I may be wrong but I think there are two mints.  I don't know which one this happened at.

This is a medal, not a coin. That's an important difference. Also, read the COA.
