Hurricane Irma
« on: September 10, 2017, 03:47:42 AM »
I am saying prayers and sending best wishes to all my friends at NGC and to the many members of the numismatic community in Florida. I can only hope that this storm will leave everyone largely unscathed.

Best wishes,
Peter Anthony

I've been going to Sarasota for many decades and have many friends there. They did not come out bad at all. Even Venice just below them but still in Sarasota county came out well. My relatives on Marco Island came out in worse shape but at least they're unhurt. Luckily the hurricane slowed down a bit after hitting Naples. This was nothing compared to what Charley did to Punta Gorda a few year back. Luckily that hurricane was not so wide. Just some of the dangers one puts up with for living in Paradise. Wonder how Stephen Kings house came on on Siesta Key?
