doesn't seem to have much traction or substance to it as far as I can tell. (like 90%+ cryptocurrencies)

It 'pays' 2.5% interest annually which is how they try and market it.

Has anyone noticed what major financial company has been huge numbers of bitcoin?
Same company that has been buying huge amounts of Ag the last several years.

The banks don't buy for their own books, but for their clients.  Morgan Stanley and JP Morgan.

I don't quite understand how other crypto-currencies other than bitcoin are useful. With bitcoins I can pay anywhere in the world and I do not need to bathe with the exchange of real money. And what about PandaCoin, for example? can I store in any convenient way like bitcoin? I see that I can buy bitcoins in different ways - https://bitcoinbestbuy.com/tutorials/. Where can I read such information about PandaCoin?

News article: Coinbase tells 13,000 users their data will be sent to the IRS soon.

Not my area, but maybe of interest to some.
