« on: June 25, 2016, 05:22:02 AM »
I had a 2003 1/4oz goldpanda sent in to NGC for conservation and grading
Got an email from them saying they moved it up a tier
Is this good news? Not so experient with NGC yet.

You probably put it in the modern value tier which has max coin value of $300 and cost $26.  They bumped it to the modern tier which has max value of $2000 and cost $43.  All it means is they know your coin is worth more than $300.

They need a bigger piece of the pie since they are going to guarantee the quality of the coin (at grading).
