Question on NGC label & holder
« on: May 18, 2016, 11:37:45 PM »
I just bought a gold panda graded by NGC. The quality of NGC label is not good. Please see the following photo. And I couldn't locate any photos from the NGC database. Just wondering if any of you have seen this kind of quality before? How can I make sure it is a genuine holder?

Thanks a lot.

I have also owned some coins with poorly printed NGC labels, which I just attributed to a nearly empty ink cartridge. I believe my coins were genuine. Wouldn't mind hearing from more experienced members on this one . . .

I haven't seen that before. I'm surprised there is no picture

Edit: I just looked it up, looks right. The NGC scan is the same. Even though it's bad, consider that your fingerprint for authenticity

I believe ngc coins with no pictures are recently graded coins that havent been added to the picture database. There are also substantial other similar coins. Your coin is likely recently China graded with serial number starting with 4.
