150g 2016 Silver Proof Starting to sell in USA

Sold out already.  Only JMB has them left in the USA as far as I can tell.

It looks like they are in stock on Apmex, but the price is higher than JMB.

What was the purchase price for the 2012 Anniversary gold pandas (1 oz and 1/10th oz) upon release? Have they experienced a huge run up in price? If not (and I think they haven't), why overpay for these new proof coins? I really see them as a waste of funds that could be put toward something far rarer.

The hefty premium over spot is another deal breaker.

Heck you could get yourself a whole lot of strategic fractionals with the same amount!

I dont know if anyone noticed but MCM is having auctions going for the kilo coins, graded and the 150 gram coin as well.
