>>> “How much is it worth?” It was friendly banter with lots of laughter, but the one common thread between all the stories is that it pays to have knowledge. Nobody knows everything about every coin so there are always bargains to be found at a coin show when a buyer knows something a seller doesn’t.<<<

A poster here made a comment awhile back regarding his experience trying to selling coin at a coin show. He was offered a very low price by someone who sells MCC and goes to most shows. I have had numerous transaction with this seller (not thru ebay though he does sell on ebay). Always a good transaction on both sides. A fair dealer, IMO, should always offer a fair price. I understand profit but to gouge or unfairly take advantage of another for their ignorance on FAIR value is not a good thing. If someone has a coin worth 10k and doesn't know it's true value what is a FAIR offer to purchase?

Do your homework guys because there are too many unethical people in the world. That good deal for you may only be a good deal for the buyer.
