Excellent translation.

There is 1979 brass medal set, 4th national games, produced by Shenyang Mint. Mintage is unknown.

I bid on that set too. I remembered it from an earlier blog post of Fwang's. The seller's 'ebay global shipping program' participation drove it out of my budget though.

I wonder how much ebay is making collecting taxes for governments?

Thanks. It was not translation, but my own observations :)

I forgot to mention that 4th national games was the first brass medal set from Shenyang Mint. But Shanghai Mint was by far the best producer of early brass medals.

There were quite a few pairs of eyes on it from China, too. I knew two people from the QQ discussion group who bid on it. One was Ggoodluck. But they had to pay 40% import tax and couldn't bid as high. I was lucky.
