Photos or NGC number?   That is one rare and awesome silver panda.  Due to the 12 oz Munich and 94 Kilo Munich 99 mintage, i think the 88 5 oz Munich is undervalued.........

That is about $5,355 USD for a 97 12 oz Munich silver panda OMP?    Dachs was asking around $17,000 USD for his PF 68.   Do not know price as that is one rare panda, wish it was mine........

Hi Pandamonium,

Yes, that's right.
Exactly, his best price was 5150€ (~ 5700 USD when coin has been sold).

I know it is a very rare medal but why is there a so big difference with PCGS price guide ?
Following PCGS, a PF68 is 3400 USD worth.
Therefore, 17000 USD for a PF68 seems overpriced... for me... but in a transaction, only 2 people are enough for building a price and if somebody is ready to give 17000 USD, it makes the price.

PS: I do not know its price following Pricepedia.

It is very rare to see a 97 12 oz Munich w/ 250 mint for sale or even talked about.   What a top silver panda to own!   The 1994 Kilo Munich has 99 mintage and i have only heard of one for sale in about 4 yrs.   Was price then $40,000??  They must trade behind the scenes.   I can never own a 12 oz or kilo but i do own the 88 5 oz Munich w/ 1,500 planned mintage.   Due to the big rare 12 oz & Kilo, I think the 5 oz is undervalued.   No other 5 oz has a family w/ big low mintage like the Munich series.   I own zero 1 oz, wish i owned the entire Munich series as that would be a top collection for me anyhow.........

The Munich serie is lovely.
I own many of them including the 5oz silver I found a few weeks ago in very goog OMP state (I hope... that's why I submitted it for grading... waiting for the verdict).
Maybe I will post later some pictures of my coins to ask their value... I have no real idea about their current value because follwing PCGS and NGC, prices are no so high but on eBay, well graded ones are sold for bigger amount; especially the 69 graded 1/2 oz gold.

It was in 2011... since that year, 1oz silver price has decreased so much.
Moreover, I am really surprised to notice that the silver coins of collection seem to follow the same movement in term of percentage.

That is over $27,500 for the 12 oz Munich OMP, wonder what the kilo Munich is selling for?   MCC are tied to bullion price for now.   That should end probably when supply decreases and more collectors come into the market due to a stronger Yuan.......All the news the Chinese AIIB banks are getting has got to attract a lot more MCC collectors...........
