Yes.   My friend bought the copy at the 2012 Beijing Coin Convention last month.  Mr. Ge was there introducing his new book.  :001_smile:

Great!

Mr. Ge's new book?  I have his book signed and dated 2011/12.  It is purple or dark red in color.  Does he have a more recent printing?  IF so, where can I buy one?............

Here are two of mine not already covered by earlier posts.
The grey one is in Chinese and covers Modern China Coins from 1982 to 1997.
The 1992 also covers 1991 MCC with great illustrations of each coin series.

Numismatic Photography, 2nd edition, 2009, ISBN 978-1933990040.  Frank Wang mentioned this book in one of our correspondences and I immediately bought it from Amazon.  I believe an accurately photographed coin is the best answer to the problem of fake coins.  It also helps you sell your coins.  Coin photography, however, is very different (and more difficult) than most macro photography due to the highly reflective proof coins and protective plastic capsules or slabs.  Having to photograph them straight-on makes the problems that much worse.  This book suggests various techniques to solve these problems.  It is a real eye opener for me.

I will add my listing here, Confession by a Numismatic Fanatic, by Frank Robinson. A thoroughly enjoyable book touching on the major topics of numismatics. The style is very informal, but the thoughts are from a real master. I wish I had read this book three years ago. That would have saved a lot of my fumbling in the dark.
