The description of that auction:

The description was written by Ge Zukang. It has been proved inaccurate. Be very careful with such "patterns". In the recent Chengxuan auction, a set of circulating pattern coins from the Cultural Revolution era sold for RMB 8.97 million. It was endorsed by the circulation coin guru Sun Keqin, who even wrote the description for the set. Still, a lot of collectors refused to buy the story.
