What is everyone's opinion on 1/10 oz gold panda's ?

They are relatively cheap, but will they swing up ?

If you can get close to spot, or even 50% above spot for some, there's really no downside.

History shows that there have been nice swings in price for the 1/10th oz size, and that it is a good way to dip your toe into the gold panda game, however, it has not had the best performance of the different sizes.

I started buying 1/10ths at btwn $140 and $175, with about $225 being the top of the range for better dates (90s non-key dates). I have seen many or most of my collection double in price, then correct, and then double again. If you sell on the doubling, then buy back in on a correction, it is easy to make some money. It's a poor man's game though. If I has many thousands of dollars to invest, it would be in halves (at the right time). 1/2s have done the best appreciation-wise, but their price is a major barrier to entry for most.

I would go for 1/4oz. For me with 1/2oz the train has left without me.

It's never too late to start. Be patient. Take your time. Save for and buy one coin at a time. Watch out for buying opportunities.

These things at times take years to complete.

Many of our peers did not suddenly acquire their collection, overnight; they did it slowly.

Such is the joy of collecting!

Keep on trying. I love that advice.  I am building a set and sometimes it becomes hard to wait for the next coin.  Especially when you see so many other cool coins on this forum.  Great advice N31
