I bought it at PandaAmerica on Thursday. They received 100 out of the 300 they had ordered. The price was a reasonable $99.99.

Best wishes,

FYI, they've still got a few of these, currently for $109. I just ordered one.

I'd like to add 2 coins to this collection. One is indeed my most recent but it's a medal. The other one stays longer with me but for sure one of the most beautiful coins of my collection and my lacking capabilites as a photographer do not give justice to the beauty of this coin.

I am a big fan of asian modern coins :001_tt1:, who have been able to acquire chinese modern coins from time to time.

For this week, my top acquisition is the attached 8 gram gold 1983 lunar year of pig again after awaiting 2 years since I had sold the complete lunar 8 gram gold set. I really love it to be with me in Bangkok, Thailand. :001_wub:

If I remember correctly, the pig is the key to the series, and one of the hardest of all modern coins to find. Congratulations on obtaining 2 of them in your lifetime!

Wow! if the pig is that hard, I will try to get the 3rd one here in Bangkok.

By the way, the attached silver lunar year of pig also just came along yesterday.

I tried to find a pig, but I gave up. That's pretty cool you have them.

Dear Zerosum,

Please give me your email address, and then let's discuss privately.

By the way, attached is another set of Chinese modern coins which just acquired by me in Bangkok, Thailand.

Wow, beautiful coins! Are you going to submit them to NCS and NGC?

Since there are no NGC/NCS'agents in Bangkok, Thailand, where I live, I prefer to keep them as it is (no time to deal with paper work for exporting and importing).

Thanks for your concern
