Title: Found a about 20 Silver Coins from Various Provinces in China - Unsure real valu
Post by: freeglobetrekker on July 27, 2019, 08:05:31 PM
So I found about 20 silver coins in our attic from one of my uncles that passed away who spent a lot of time in China back in the 30s and 40s. I am thinking they are real. I see all kinds of prices on eBay for the exact same coins, some seem to be worth $2 and then there are one or two I am seeing multiple listings for $1600+. Can someone help me out? Is there a service that I can get them rated that doesn't cost $300 per coin?

Here are two pictures showing the coins "fairly well“ for your review: https://ibb.co/vxFZzHr https://ibb.co/BTdwJvM

Thanks! I'm a newbie!

Look good to me.
But the grade of the coins is pretty low. Try IGC, they charge $12/coin plus shipping both ways.

I started this thread when I found Canadian nickels for 7 cents each.  Yesterday I was able to get some only about 25 for 4 cents each- and this was from a coin shop.
