Dear members:
This is snowball. I just made a major upgrade on the forum's software. The old software is outdated with potential security concerns. Now, the forum is using the latest version. Please allow me some time to get everything back to normal.
At this moment, the forum should be functional. If you see any problems, please report to me.
thank you!
best,

Agreed. The color was better before the update :-)
I imagine for color-blind people this could be an issue as well??
-
I am going to work on the color shortly. :001_smile:

FWIW, I am fine with the new setup and appreciate the improved security.
Best wishes,
Peter Anthony

How about large photos of MCC on top, sides or bottom borders?....

Sounds like a good idea. :001_smile:
I need to first make sure the site runs smoothly after the major upgrade. Then, I will check around for any useful or interesting modifications for the forum. Thanks for the suggestion.

I noticed that the "Forum Time" was now different from my local time (Eastern Standard Time). I went to my profile to change it. Perhaps you guys already know what to do but just in case this is how I changed mine:
Click the "Profile" on top to get into your profile settings.
Click "Modify Profile"
Click "Look and Layout"
Select "Time Offset"
Depending on your time zone you may wish to enter something like "+5" which is what I did to get the forum time to be the same with my local time.
You probably can click "Auto Detect" but I didn't want to mess with that. May be important if you frequently move from one time zone to another.
Finally click "Change Profile" at the bottom of the page to save the changes.
You can always go back and modify the changes if you miscalculated in your early attempts.
I hope this is useful.

Notice the trade count associated with a user is gone.

It seems like after the upgrade, the Trader Count only works on the default theme (not the custom theme that we previously use). I am going to use the default theme for now. :001_smile:

It looks very nice - seems much more modern/clean looking and a little snappier to load than I remember. Nice job!
