Title: 1987 12oz 100 Yuan Silver Zhan Tianyou - 125th Anniversary

Saw a NGC label "Frosted Tunnel".  Is there a "non-frosted"?  Got side-by-side pictures?

yes, there is a frosted and mirror (non-frosted) tunnel version.

It is the small tunnel at 9 o'clock that shows this variety, sorry no pics at the moment.

Egad!  It is just a small frosting variation of no consequence, IMHO.  There are hundreds, nay, thousands such frosting variations in MCC.  The first time the variety showed up in NGC census is in Nov 2013.  Click on the animated GIF below and see the differences.

The fact that you have kept historical documents/communications such as these is quite impressive (to me). Always fun to see the history of what I enjoy collecting. If only I was collecting back then . . .
