« on: September 23, 2013, 04:37:38 AM »
2013 Beijing International Coin Expo, the 18th large scale international coin expo, will be staged on Oct. 11th. Nearly 200 coin mints or dealers from over 20 countries will take part in the expo.
As one of the branded activities of the coin expo, the coin auction will be held in E232A-B, on the morning of Oct. 13th. 569 lots will be available for auction, after two months of solicitation, including the Chinese modern precious metal commemorative coin, the paper money, the foreign gold, silver, copper coins or medals. Except for the new gold and silver coins with special numbers available in each auction, a lot of foreign classical gold and silver coins, particularly some famous coins that have been awarded with international coin grand prize will be on the auction. It is also worth mentioning that, a super big gold coin, the 10kg 2013 Chinese Lunar (Guisi) snake, which has the max. mintage of only 18, certification number of No.1, will also be on the auction. It is no doubt that, the coin will be the focus of the auction.

If anyone is attending the Beijing show over the next few days, we'd love to see photos of the action or read a description about how things are going.  N48  I would love to be walking the floor, soaking in the experience.  But I'm stuck at work in the US...
