I enjoyed my first FUN show in Orlando. Although a few of the big Chinese coin players weren't there, there was some interesting inventory dispersed around the floor. Of the dealers present, perhaps not surprisingly, PandaAmerica had the nicest selection of gold pandas.
I went to the show looking to trade a half dozen duplicate 69s and lower grade (67/68) gold pandas of various denominations, and I was able to work some deals with several dealers. I've included a few photos of the treats I came home with. I filled a hole in my G1Oz date series; I got a nice, low-mintage gold reminder of the years I lived in New Orleans; and I couldn't resist a 150 year old silver crown from Thailand.
It was a pleasure meeting CCF members Justin, Michael, Peter Y., and Will.
What a great way to spend a day
