Dear Pandamonium,

I found your box. It doesn't have the fish which you have but it is in a good condition (not damaged) and it includes all medals.
The price is 1500 USD (including EMS express mail). Please let me know if you are interested.

Thanks Kondi but the price of $1500 is just too steep for me.  I knew these boxes would go up but not this high so soon.  It would be a good match for my broken box.  I will post photos of some boxes so maybe someone will know what I have..........

Kondi:   You are in China and you know many in the MCC market.  Are there many of these older MCC wood boxes for sale in China?............

This is the only one which I found. Coin collectors here don't care so much about boxes. They just grade coins or medal in NGC or PCGS and try to sell the box or get rid of them sowhow--it is a pity.

Coin dealers here do the same. If there is some dealer who sells boxes---those are mostly modern boxes, rather than old chinese coin boxes.

The pagoda box is so representative of the 1980's MCC :)

He meant 1500 for both the coins and the box - not box only :-)

Thank you for the link.  Yes the price is $1500 for the box and goldfish.  Not sure if the goldfish are real silver or not.........
