Hello,

A copper replica of the 1932 China Junk Birds Over Junk Dollar possesses convincing details to me. Does this mean that silver versions are imminent? What do other members think?

eBay briefly posted this copper replica of a 1932 China Birds Over Junk Dollar (Item 311540571175, February 4, 2016) before ending it.

Check the following thread. The high quality reproduction may be here already.

Thank you for the thread link. That may explain this auction's $59.50 starting price for a silver 1932 Junk Dollar (item 141889953472).

The 1934 Junk Y-345, version and the 1911 Empire Dragon, Y-31, dollars are appearing frequently in the Washington Mint coin sets. The copper version of the 1911 dollar (item 311540575015) might hint those sets are possibly involved.

An astounding number of MS-62 or better dollar coins in slabs from an appraisal house ostensibly in Shanghai are also flooding into posted auctions. Is this plausible?
