James Rickards interview from February 2012

It may be irrelevant one day how much over spot we get for our coins. Spot may very well be a lot more.
James also mentions Fine Art as a protection against inflation. It's not the first time I heard someone say that, Marc Faber has said it also in the past and more recently "r3globe"  :001_smile:

His book Currency Wars was a fascinating read and relevant to our current social, economical, and geopolitcal situation.  Let it be noted he also worked for the US Dept of Defense on Economic Warfare.  I read the good news was Jim won but the bad news is Jim was playing on the side of Russia and China World hegemony.

Rickards is among the top financial analysts I enjoy listening to. He presents the macro view very clearly.

I agree.
Jim Rickards is one of the few people I pay attention to. His knowledge of history combined with his expertise on geopolitical events is a great source. He explains very clearly why certain things have happened such as the creation of the EURO.
