Buying Silver Bullion?
« on: April 17, 2013, 06:46:00 AM »
Last thursday APMEX 100 oz silver bars were 1.29 over spot and all 8 were available.

Today 7 are sold out, 1 available. The only one available is 100 oz. Johnson Matthey and now 1.79 over spot

Engelhard is now 1.99 over spot Apmex bars 1.89 over, RCM 1.79 over well you get the picture. Someone exchanged a lot of dollars for silver bullion.

I once did like silver bullion, when it was $10/oz. I sold all of it on its way down from 44 to 35 to buy "silver" CMC.
Off course it will go back up, but when it comes to silver, for me its either CMC or nothing.

Right now IMO, it makes sense to get gold bullion "coins" with numismatic potential, premiums are the same, but spot is much lower.
I recently pickup a 10oz 2013 Australian Lunar snake gold coin, paid less than what (5) 2002 1/10th gold pandas are going for these days  :001_smile:
