I couldn't resist. This is one of the biggest piles of coins I have seen.

Very nice collection Badon. It looks like it also represents your preferences - the pagodas are on the very top, then the goldfish and god of wealth.

Keep them coming wassergeist. This is fun.
Many collectors buy one or a few of the same coin, you buy the whole mintage.

Thanks! Those aren't all my coins though - my collection is much nicer, haha :) If I remember correctly, fFrom all those coins, I picked out a few I wanted and put them on top for the photo. I found a few varieties by searching through all those to find the ones I wanted. A dealer's inventory sometimes goes up in value when he lets me dig through new stocks to find varieties. Sometimes I find something special that the dealers didn't know they had. I take one, and the dealer keeps the rest. It works out pretty well for us, and then I write an article about what I found so everyone can benefit.

I think my most interesting finds so far are the 1995 1 oz silver proof panda rim varieties. People seem to have forgotten about those, but they're among the most obvious varieties of them all. At the time I found them, I didn't realize their importance, so I neglected to buy them, and I think I stupidly sold the ones I already had. Live and learn!

I think we have to find somebody to post an impressive photo to top wassergeist. I'm not sure if anyone has a photo good enough for that. I'll keep digging, I might have something...

Everything we have seen so far could probably fit on one or two shelves of wassergeist's many closets.

That's a fantastic collection, and great photos.  The sheer scale of it is just....wow!

You must be very proud, and you must live in a very safe place/neighborhood that you can keep it all at home and enjoy it whenever you wish.   The neighborhood I live in isn't as nice or safe as it used to be, so I decided to move my own collection to an off-site vault...I sleep better at night, but I can't enjoy them or look at them whenever I want.  I wish I could just open my closet and take them out, like you can.  Congrats on a very amazing collection, Wassergeist!
