The ID 15 coin set is still on ebay 191816714990  $15,598...
Same set without double seal sold on ebay 121904775246   $2,820     The 1994 big silver dog has letters  ASH  about 9 o'clock.....
Ebay silver rooster 262313539596  has  .A.SH.     Similar to big silver dog.    What is this mint mark?    It was discussed before?   I see it on several Chinese silver designs.......Is it from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Australia, Great Britain?.......

Also the 1982 copper dog that came w/ the Mint Set, what was mintage?      ebay 182040915483 is an example....

One seller gave me this information......(the 5 oz silver Sharpei Dog has ASH on it about 7 o clock.)     1 oz Sharpei Dog sold recently on ebay and it also had the same initials.    ASH stands for Alex Shagin.    Copyright by PandaAmerica not a government mint.... This set was probably put together by PA and that is why i question if it is a Martin Weiss set.    Emailed PA about these silver medals and mintage but no response.    Sharpei Dog silver may have been privately minted in the US for this set but not 100% sure......photo of 5 oz silver Sharpei Dog...

Disclosure;   I have a habit of putting very low bids on ebay and once in a while i get shocked when i win.    I won the set for $2,820 and it is the same as the $15k set.     Have paypal's 14 day delivery plan which is a 2 week line of credit.     Sold the big S50Y or 5 oz Yin Yang Philosophy to pay for the set.    At least i owned it for about a week before payment was due.   Kept the rest of the set and all paperwork, boxes, etc.    Photos of the big Yin Yang i sold below.     Heartbreaking to sell but gotta pay bills......

A couple of years ago, I had one of those in the backseat of my car when I went to return a book at the library. As I got back to my car and saw the broken glass laying next to my car, I was obviously worried. Worst news ever. I opened up the rear passenger-side door to find a second ugly-ass dog medal in my backseat. Yuck.

Guess it won't win a popularity contest but there are others that won't win either.....

Looks like Alex designed both and the 5 oz was for the PA set.      Have seen about 2 of the 1 oz on ebay a year and none of the 5 oz.     Guesstimate that the 5 oz may have only been produced for the set.      Not official mint by a long shot but there are other non official medals too that are popular.     Still a semi immature Chinese coin/medal market so lets see what happens in the long run to these unofficial set medals......

PA has the answers to mintage, etc.....
