I haven't see any too. I frequently check eBay in addition to other dealer sites but no mention of their availability and pricing. So it is either they have not been minted and shipped to distributors/dealers or there are behind the scenes pre-public-sale activities going on such as pre-screening, grading and encapsulation of higher grades.

Even the 2016 gold fractionals are not hitting the Western markets in numbers representative of their high mintage. They are trickling in with associated high premiums over spot. For example the 1g gold Panda coin is retailing right now on eBay for $81.32 while the spot price for 1g of gold bullion is $34.34USD. The last sale price for the MS70 1g gold panda coin was $135.

I am sure the proof gold and silver coins will get to the market eventually although I cannot predict in what permutations they will be proferred in. One cannot say that recent year proof coins flooded the market. So one has to be on the watch out for the "flash sale" of the index year proof coins.

Goodluck to all!  N20
