2000 Lunar Dragon 5 oz silver rectangle
« on: January 19, 2012, 09:55:18 PM »
The 2000 dragon 5 oz rectangles have come down in price.  It has been a while since I've seen two listed for less than $3000.

Do you think they haven't sold because they aren't graded?

I see that the 2012 Year of the dragon rectangle has sold for $1450.

The listing said that 2012 has a mintage of 20,000.  I'd have to think that the year 2000 at $2899 would be a better long term investment with a mintage of only 1888 (and you know that some of these must have gotten melted over the past decade or so).

They have not sold because I do not have 3k to spend right now. lol

Seriously though I noticed this also and thought that this is an excellent price.

If I did have the money available I would buy both.
