colored 1 oz silver lunar

In 2009 when the colored silver 1oz lunar ox came out, the going price was around $90.

In 2010, the colored silver 1oz lunar tiger was around $250

Now the 2009 ox is around $900 and 2010 tiger is around $700.

Currently the 2011 colored silver 1oz lunar rabbit is around $185.  Do you see the rabbit will increase in the same speed as the previous two?

Wow, I have ignored the colored coins. I'll probably continue to ignore them too...but it looks like they're serious money now.

Man, some of the colored coins (e.g., 1997-1999 proof Pandas) are so ugly! I bet some kids can do a better job coloring than that. One exception I saw may be some of the 2008 Olympics (e.g., Peking Opera, dragon dance).

Just imagine how ugly they'd be if those coins ever circulated. All that goop rubbing off, it would have been a mess.
