How much would a set like this be worth?
Any ideas?

I used to sell this set in PF69 for $6000-$6500 in 2011, but then Stacks dumped hoards of these coins and today a PF69 set is around $3500.

Since you have some PF70s the price is a little harder to come with and most likely the coins sold individually will be worth more than sold  as a set, since most collectors don't want mixed grade set or they like to build PF70 set on their own for a sense of accomplishment.  The key PF70 (see pop report below) are horse, dog, rat and pig.  You have the pig, so add roughly $500, all the other PF70 common (supply exceeds the number of PF70 collectors) so add roughly $200/each x 6 = $1200, the horse is PF68 deduct $200, total I would estimate $5000. If you have the COAs and boxes, add $200.

Thank You Arif

Your feedback is quite useful.
Much appreciated.

It seems a shame to have to break-up a set to sell coins individually.

Unless all the grades are matched it really isn't a set.  I have found when you have mixed grades the number of buyers is very limited, but matched set people pay a premium for.  I even broke up two of the 8g gold sets and sold them individually to maximize proceeds, because I had grades PF68-Pf70.

This was also the experience many years ago of collectors who made sets of Panda sheets. They expected a premium for rarity, but discovered the sheet sets could only be sold at a discount. Of course, once demand for, say, gold 1/2 oz. Pandas got strong enough then the discount would have vanished. I am thinking, though, of what seems like another age a decade ago.

Best wishes,
