Assuming it’s not a black and white photo (which doesn’t brass or copper) it’s appearance tends to lean towards zinc rather than aluminum, nickel or tin.  Very doubtful it would be palladium. I wonder if it was a “one off” to test before the later /standard restrikes were struck?

How about this mythical 5 Legged platinum panda  N16

This 2022 First Strike graded platinum 1oz also happens to have a panda with a so called "5th leg".. Circled in red.  Just sold in China for 42,525rmb...(USD $6659)

Looks more like a poor design than a fifth leg.....

Imagine if you consigned this hazy piece to the Hong Kong Auction and were expecting it to sell for a few hundred dollars, and you wake up this morning and see it sold for $22,800.  This is a case where you wouldn't mind paying around 20% auction fees!
